I was grateful to have attended the Women in Auto Finance Luncheon in
Vegas, an exclusive networking opportunity designed to support and
cultivate female leadership in the industry. For having been the newest
feature on the AFS agenda, attendance was encouragingly at full
The goal of the luncheon was to cultivate a more supportive community
and culture for women in the auto finance sector. This special luncheon
included keynotes from a highly regarded executive who shared her
experiences and expertise in auto lending and leasing.
One of the most memorable moment of the luncheon was listening to
special guest speaker, Renee Franck.
Franck spoke about her experience in dealership sales and finance. With
a career that spans over 30 years in financial services, she oversaw
bank systems conversions and technology initiatives, and managed office
consolidations. She is now the national credit manager in the Dealer
Financial Services division at SunTrust. Franks is the first female in
the bank's history to hold the position -- you've made us women proud! I
had the pleasure of meeting Renee after her talk, incredible women.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the presentations and had a chance to network
amongst other attendees. It was a pleasure to speak with women from all
areas of the business.
Hope to see you all at the next Women in Auto Finance Luncheon!
