Since inception, Jonah Group has taken action to promote the use of clean energy. We were one of the early adopters of Bullfrog Power to provide 100% wind, solar and hydro energy for our office and data centre usage. We have supported not-for-profit activist organizations such as the David Suzuki Foundation and Pollution Probe to increase awareness and promote the use of cleaner energy and reduction of energy usage overall through lower carbon-emitting forms of transportation such as cycling to work and use of public transit.
Jonah Group has recently begun to seek out projects in this market. We can work with you to develop the following types of systems (among others):

Instinet
Instinet was founded in 1967 as Institutional Networks. It is Wall Street's oldest electronic communications network (ECN), and after it was acquired by Reuters Group in 1987, it and other ECNs evolved into major threats to the established stock exchanges. The company split its ECN and its brokerage business into Inet ECN and Instinet, respectively, in 2003. NASDAQ then acquired Inet ECN in 2005 and Instinet was sold to a private equity firm. In addition to sales trading, Instinet provides front-end technology, algorithmic trading, liquidity sourcing, independent research, commission management and transaction analysis.
