The Jonah Group is owned and operated by software engineers. Our staff is comprised entirely of software engineers. We know what's reasonable to ask of them, how to motivate them, and how to foster effective teams. We hire smart, creative, self-motivated individuals who thrive in such an environment.
When hiring, we pay close attention to "soft" factors like the ability to work in teams and a commitment to learning. All employees have access to an annual training budget that they can use to continue learning and bring new knowledge into the company.
Of course, our people also have to be able to deliver the goods. Our roots are in distributed object-oriented analysis and design. We favour applicants with this background, and a firm grasp of the principles of iterative software development.
