The Jonah Group wins bid to re-design the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) website.
Toronto, Ontario, October 10, 2008 - The Jonah Group has been awarded a contract to re-design and implement the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) website. TRCA selected The Jonah Group to completely redevelop their existing website, provide new information architecture supported on an enterprise class opensource Content Management Framework and implement a coherent visual identity system across site that would strengthen the TRCA brand, position TRCA as a leader in providing regional environmental and sustainability information and services online.
TRCA is a provincial/municipal partnership established in 1957, under the Conservation Authorities Act, to manage the renewable natural resources of the region’s watersheds. Since then it has developed a strong history in watershed management and leadership in applying sustainability practices. Today, it owns more than 40,000 acres of land in the greater Toronto region, employs more than 400 full time employees and coordinates more than 2,000 volunteers each year. With decades of practical experience in protecting our environment, educating young people, and engaging communities, TRCA works with businesses, governments, and individuals to build a greener, cleaner healthier place to live.
