Jonah certified under "Federated Builder" SOA program at large health insurance company
Client extends long-standing history of ongoing success with The Jonah Group
Southfield, June 30, 2006 - At the beginning of the year, The Jonah Group's client had undertaken a major new initiative known as the Common Services Project to implement a J2EE-based Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide common reliable services to numerous applications across their enterprise. Under this program, several vendors were invited to apply for SOA certification, which consisted of company audits, interviews, and staff certification in 3 phases over the course of 6 months.
On June 30, The Jonah Group was successfully certified as a Federated Builder under the SOA program, allowing them to tender bids on strategic SOA work for this client. The first such RFP arrived on July 7, 2006.
Jonah's large health insurance company client is a nonprofit organization providing health management services to hundreds of thousands of members. Their social mission is to promote the science and art of health care services for all Michigan residents. They provide funding to help sustain over 30 free clinics across the state of Michigan.
The Jonah Group has been working together successfully with this client since 2001, and continues to be engaged with them on various strategic initiatives.
