The Jonah Group delivers first business release of Benefits Provisioning System for large health insurance company
January 26, 2007 - With excellent cooperative efforts between the Jonah and the client project teams, the first business release of our HMO client's benefits provisioning system was delivered right on schedule and on budget.
The first iteration began in August of 2006, and involved a significant discovery phase in which the Jonah team was brought up to speed on the classes of claims processing rules supported by the existing benefits system, the benefits classification hierarchy, and the way benefits were configured and provisioned within the enitre organization. Jonah was able to digest this information and feed it back in the form of use cases, detailed software architecture documents, and two iterations of working software.
Jonah met the challenge of highly complex requirements and very demanding timelines, to deliver a product that has been received enthusiastically by the client’s user community.
