The Jonah Group wins bid to create a claim correction system for a large health insurance company.

January 16, 2008 - The Jonah Group has been awarded the software contract to design and implement a claim correction system for one of their large health insurance clients. The new system will streamline the claim correction process by replacing paper-based forms with an online web-based system. 

Jonah's client was using a mix of paper-based and online forms for correcting claims.  The Jonah Group reviewed existing systems and business processes and compiled a comprehensive solution that supports both facility and professional claims. 

Health care providers will review their pended claims through a secure web interface allowing them to correct errors and re-submit claims for approval.  The system will update error status as the user edits a claim providing a more efficient workflow and reducing the number of incorrect submissions. Views will be tailored to each individual so users can focus on their work instead of searching for information.

The Jonah Group won the construction contract based on the strength or their analysis and design work and the quality of the proposed solution. 

Jonah's large health insurance company client is a nonprofit organization providing health management services to hundreds of thousands of members. Their social mission is to promote the science and art of health care services for all Michigan residents. They provide funding to help sustain over 30 free clinics across the state of Michigan.

The Jonah Group has been working together successfully with this client since 2001, and continues to be engaged with them on a number of strategic initiatives.
